During my mechanical engineering study and my diploma thesis I gained a lot of knowledge in the field of simulation. I want to learn more about this interesting field. Therefore I decided to start my master study in CSE (Computational Science and Engineering) at the TU Munich in the winter term 2003/2004.

CSE is a multi-disciplinary field and is based on mathematics (numerical analysis) and computer science. This fact can be also seen in our timetables.   During the first semester we learnt especially basics like Numerical Analysis 1, Scientific Computing or Fundamental Algorithms. In our further study we have choose 2 main subjects.
